Katherine Elizabeth Long, a brain aneurysm survivor, draws on her over 20 years as a technology executive, years of work with kids and nonprofits, and her own health journeys. She is an author and the founder of the Exploring Paths® program in NYC and the Exploring Paths™ web and mobile application for explorers, destinations, and subject matter experts alike. Originally from Del Rio, Texas, she spent summers in Southern Louisiana and New Orleans, has lived and studied throughout the US and Europe, and has traveled the world for work and fun. Her parents instilled gratitude and goal-setting practices in her and her brother at a young age, and it is those practices that set them up for success.

She instills those same practices in students today through her program, applications, & workbooks. Katherine holds a BA from Texas Christian University and an MSc from the London School of Economics; is an advocate for the Brain Aneursym Foundation and the YMCA, served as Board Chair for the Chinatown YMCA in NYC, has held several board positions, has worked with youth for over 20 years, and has won multiple awards for her efforts with Exploring Paths, including NY'1's New Yorker of the Week & Marimekko’s Friend of Marimekko for Int'l Women's Day.

Dyon Bryant
Head of Corporate Education

Dyon (Dee-On) Bryant, an Organizational Development Consultant/HR practitioner, has evolved from FMLA Claims Specialist to HR Director, embodying empathy and efficiency across manufacturing, tech, non-profits, and government agencies.

A member of the Society of Human Resources Management group and a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Dyon specializes in enhancing employee engagement and retention, offering solutions to systemic organizational challenges such as high recruitment costs, knowledge loss and disruption of culture during layoffs or shifts in economic environments..

Beyond work, she's passionate about painting, writing, and teaching chess to kids in Chicago.

Jen Glose
Head of Curricula

Jen Glose has enjoyed over 20 years as a teacher in Saratoga Springs, New York.  She has been a drama club co-director, professional development educator, and curriculum writer.  Jen is originally from Little Falls, New York, and spent summers in the Adirondacks at her family’s lake house.  For Jen, gratitude and a growth mindset are two important things she is committed to and passionate about sharing with youth.

Jen holds an MS in Literacy from SUNY Albany and a BS in Elementary and Special Education from SUNY Geneseo and is an advocate with the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. She enjoys reading, baking, hiking, tennis, and traveling with her husband and two boys, Ben and Owen.
